My quickie green smoothie is inspired by Kelly Leveque’s #fab4smoothie formula. Her account on IG is one of my favorites so I had to have her book when it dropped last week. That and I kind of have an Amazon Prime problem so… I was happy to preorder it. 🙂
This girl is super smart and writes about complicated food science in a simple, digestible way. Kelly is all about balance(!) and extending your blood sugar curve to stay full for hours, lose (or maintain) weight effortlessly, and rid yourself of what she names unnecessary food drama. With all the diet info swirling around the web these days, Kelly’s book is a trusted resource backed by science which I love!! I am all about EBP and she legitimately cites the studies she bases her practice on!

GO-TO GREEN SMOOTHIE
1 cup almond milk
1 handful of spinach
1/2 frozen banana
1/2 cup frozen cauliflower
1 Tbsp MCT oil
1 Tbsp almond butter
1 Tbsp flax meal
1 serving vanilla protein powder
Blend all ingredients in a high speed blender until smooth. Top with your favorite toppings + enjoy!
